Clicking on a material card opens the pattern palette window.
Colors
Palette Window
The Colors tab displays all materials used in the current pattern:
- Solids
- Blends
- Beads
A single tap on a row selects the material as the current one in the pattern. A long press selects all colors of the same code. This is useful if cross-stitch and half-stitch are separated into different materials in the pattern, but you want to highlight them simultaneously. A long press on already highlighted rows will deselect them.
The palette table shows the number of each stitch type for the selected material. If the material is already in use, the information will be displayed in the following format:
11 - remaining stitches
4/15 - 4 completed, total 15
26.7% - percentage of completion
Clicking on any column header allows you to sort the table by that column. This function is convenient when stitching "from largest to smallest". The sort order in the palette is considered during automatic and manual color switching.
If you want to use palette editing, you first need to convert the pattern format to DIZE.
Clicking on the three dots in the corner of the window opens the palette menu:
- Close the palette immediately after selecting a color - when this option is enabled, the window will automatically close after tapping on a row in the list.
- Hide completed colors from the list - materials that are 100% complete will be hidden from the list.
- Convert to another palette - opens the palette converter.
- Replace colors with calibrated values from Paradise - for colors available in scanned palettes, the RGB color values will be replaced.
- Restore all materials to original values from the pattern file - all changes in the palette will be restored to their original values.
Usage
The usage tab shows the calculated amount of skeins/beads for the pattern, taking into account the fabric count and reserve percentage.
Usage information is displayed in the columns "Number of skeins" and "Strand length". The "Backstitch" column provides reference information on the length of backstitch stitches in that color.
Clicking the "Share" button allows you to save the usage data in a .CSV file, which can then be opened in a spreadsheet editor, such as Excel.
